1. Information We Collect
Project Evelyn is designed to protect your identity. We collect only the data necessary to provide and secure the service:
- Query Logs: Voice and text search inputs are transmitted to our secure Go backend to generate responses. These logs are stored temporarily and can be cleared by the user at any time in the iOS companion application.
- Device Identification (App Attest): We collect temporary cryptographic hardware receipts using Apple's App Attest API to confirm that request packets come from an unmodified copy of Project Evelyn. This identifier does not reveal your personal identity or Apple ID.
- Subscription Records: All financial and subscription details are handled securely by Apple StoreKit 2. We do not store credit card numbers, billing addresses, or bank details.
2. Data Use and AI Services
We use your queries solely to fetch answers from the AI engines integrated into the routing layer. Query inputs are not used for training AI models or for building behavioral profiles.
3. Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Query data is only shared with authorized upstream AI partners to fulfill the search request. No advertising code or tracking libraries are present in either the iOS or watchOS client apps.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
Users can permanently delete their query history directly from the Settings menu in the companion iOS app. When requested, all history logs are purged immediately and irrevocably from our backend databases.
5. Children's Privacy
Project Evelyn does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such data, please contact us for immediate removal.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the "last updated" date at the top of the policy.
